The Maison — Est. MCMLXXXIV

A house built on the long quiet work of artistry.

By Artists was founded by a small circle of agents who believed the great houses of representation had grown too large to truly listen. We remain deliberately small — a boutique by intention, not by limitation.

We represent forty-eight artists from two bureaus — Los Angeles and New York — who perform on the most distinguished stages of the United States and Europe. We do not maintain a public roster of clients. We do not chase trends. We tend careers as one tends a vineyard: with patience, with discretion, and with an unshakable belief in what the years will bring.

— The Partners, By Artists

I.

Selectivity

We accept fewer than three new artists each year. Each is given the focus the great careers require.

II.

Stewardship

Our partners average twenty-two years inside the maison. Continuity is itself a service.

III.

Geography

Bureaus in Los Angeles and New York place our artists within reach of every great stage on two continents.
